EED Pilot Project at Wilton Park House

Service Provided: Develop Wilton Park House (WPH) as a pilot and exemplar project for EXEED Verified certification by end of Q3 2017 and promote awareness of the EXEED management framework within the public sector. Following the EXEED process and capturing any significant learning outcomes to help SEAI develop EXEED certification guidance material. Endorse the EXEED program within IDA and promote the framework within their advanced building solutions strategy for new Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) clients, helping position IDA as a leader in the implementation of energy management practices. Implement feasible energy saving opportunities that will help both IDA and SEAI achieve their 2020 energy reduction targets while complementing SEAI’s ISO 50001 energy management system by helping to reduce energy consumption at their Dublin head office and promote energy efficiency awareness amongst WPH tenants.
Outcome: This project is still in progress, however, the findings from the initial ‘Challenge and Analysis’ carried out by GES will be presented to the SEAI this month. This phase consists of an indepth analysis of the M&E systems within Wilton Park House.
